1.2 Die is a tool for producing parts by deforming a work piece under pressure.

As a die or a mold is a tool for producing specific products, the manufacturing process of shape elements is individual. But, the general way of technology can be identified:
1. Semi-finished products:
1.1. Purchasing of raw materials
1.2. Separation sheets in semi-finished products or removal from forging or casting of technological overdimensions
2. Production of reference surface

4. Preparatory and final boring work and/or holemaking
