New milling CNC center Haas DT-1

At the beginning of November new equipment - compact high production machining center with CNC HAAS DT-1 with the option of high-speed milling was bought and installed in the tool shop at UPRZ LLC. Starting up and adjustments were successful, professionals-machine operators have already begun work.

Vertical milling machining center with CNC was bought for the specific target- production of graphite electrode, which are further used in the electroerosion machining of the working parts of molds. The powerful spindle provides a rate speed of up to 15,000 rpm, which is necessary for the productive processing of graphite with carbide mills f1, f2 and f3 mm.

As a result, the processing time of the electrodes was reduced by an average of 70% on the HAAS DT-1 machine as compared to the HAAS TM-1 machine (which was previously used to process the electrodes), respectively, the time frame was shortened and the volume of manufactured products increased.
