Introduction of Lean production

Since the beginning of February Ulyanovskiy Priboro-Remontniy Zavod started to train the employees about the principles of Lean production. The objective is to make all the production process more effective, sensitive to change of market demand. A special working group allocated the directions important for our plant as part of Lean production.

Lean production is an approach to company management which purpose is a continuous improvement of work quality due to reduction of the excess expenses that don't add value to the product. Such approach extends to all activities and completely to a production cycle (creation of the project, production, sale of the final product).

Lean production was developed for application in the sphere of automobile manufacture. The approach with a proved success was adapted to use in various branches, from large industrial enterprises to service organizations. On any direction its application yields constant result – evident improvement of operational efficiency and reduction of losses.
